The Bay Studio Tour

September 29-30  2018

Saturday & Sunday  •  10 - 4 pm

The 9th annual Bay Studio Tour will feature artists from the towns of Penetanguishene and Tiny, Ontario. Their studios are located on or near the beautiful shores of Georgian Bay. My connection to this area is deep, as I lived in the area for many years.

There will be approximately 20 local studios participating, with over 30 artists who work in a variety of mediums. I will be a returning guest of my talented potter friend, Antje Gagne, at her studio in Tiny, Ontario.  39 Rue Vanier, Tiny, Ontario.

Where The Light Is - Solo Exhibition at OMAH

It doesn't really matter what the subject is, the light is what inspires me. The way it casts blue shadows on snow, the way it makes the water dance at sunset, or event the way a school of fish become elusive little flashes of silver in the moonlight...all this makes me want to paint.

My solo show, Where The Light Is, will be held in the Lounge Gallery at the Orillia Museum of Art & History.
I will be showing a collection of large and small pieces, plein air and studio, and all reflecting my love of the light.
The opening is on November 24 and the show will run until January 20.
