My Story
I am self-taught and have worked with watercolours and oils over the past 25 years. My style ranges from traditional to somewhat abstracted. I like to invite the viewer to use their imagination to fill in the details.
My inspiration often comes from the way the light illuminates my subject, whether it be landscape, floral, still life, or anything else that captures my artist's eye, and yes there have been many "STOP THE CAR" moments!
My indoor studio is in my home and I still love painting in the great outdoors. I have had so many wonderful adventures, many times with groups of other painters.
The pictures below include some of the places, such as Killarney, Algonquin and Georgian Bay, that have inspired many of my paintings.
