My Story
I am self-taught and have worked with watercolours and oils over the past 20 years. My style ranges from traditional to somewhat abstracted. I like to invite the viewer to use their imagination to fill in the details.
My inspiration often comes from the way the light illuminates my subject, whether it be landscape, floral, still life, or anything else that captures my artist's eye. "STOP THE CAR"...yes that happens often!
My indoor studio is in my home, but my best and favourite studio is the great outdoors. I have had so many wonderful
adventures, many times with groups of other painters.
The pictures below include some of the places, such as Killarney, Algonquin and Georgian Bay, that have inspired many of my paintings.
